Two more people have been arrested related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.
A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.
These detentions come after a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.
A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later released.
Officers detained a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault near the location. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.
Authorities were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several people hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.
The attack - an event that police said was isolated and not considered an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
